SPRING ONION SOUP

INGREDIENTS:

3 tbsp butter
4 cups chopped spring onions
1 cup milk
5 cups water
1 tbsp powdered white pepper
salt as required

METHOD:

  • Heat the butter and add the onions into it.
  • Saute for 1 minute and then pour water into it.
  • Bring it to boil and blend it when the onions are well cooked.
  • Strain the soup and boil it again. When it boils, add the milk and heat it for 5 mins.
  • Add salt, pepper and mix well.
  • Pour the spring onion soup into soup bowls and serve hot!
